Medical Hungarian language proficiency test for RESIDENT or potentially resident DOCTORS
The date for the medical Hungarian language proficiency test is May 18, 2026.
The deadline for registration and payment is 12:00 noon on April 30, 2026.
The fee of the Hungarian language proficiency test is EUR 250.
Applicants will receive further information about the payment terms when they submit their application form.
Applicants will be informed of the exact date and location of the Hungarian language proficiency test for medical university studies by email no later than 10 days before the test date.
The C1 level Hungarian language proficiency test for medical professionals consists of the following parts: written (reading comprehension and writing skills in the field of medicine) and oral (listening comprehension and speaking skills in the field of medicine).
The preparatory course consists of 8 sessions, on the following dates: March 20, 27, April 1, 10, April 17, 24, 30, and May 5. Each session lasts 90 minutes.
The course takes place on the Teams platform, and the course fee may vary depending on the number of participants. One session lasts 90 minutes (2x45 minutes, approx. EUR 10-20/45 minutes).
Registration for the preparatory course and the exam takes place in March.
The deadline for the prep course registration has been extended until 12.00, March 20, 2026.
